RE: FW: TT 2009022604614

Thank you Christian

Sounds good, the issue is solved and Swisscom can close there ticket. We closed the ticket with Swisscom and they can reopen it, if  another end customer has a cli presentation.
Swisscom ticket number is 4042991 and you can close your ticket. We let you know, if something happens again.

Regards
Matthias

Here is a more detailed overview of the issue.

The problem apparently appeared when doing tests for the v2 switch. Configuration modifications introduced an error in clip handling. In some cases, the originating number was not stripped when privacy was on. We identified the source and corrected the configs. Incoming call tests were made with restricted cli presentation (from pstn and mobile), the number does not appear any more on the end user device.

Can we have confirmation of Swisscom that the observed problem is no more present? This way we can also close the issue from our side.

Regards,
Christian

Matthias,
How we can generate test calls with such option?
Please provide us a way to send test calls into our network where we can see that the voip privacy on option is set

Hello Matthias,
This is probably due to configuration changes while we are attempting to move from V1 to V2.
We will look and certainly can find and fix this problem.
We are taking about incoming numbers right (calls terminated from Swisscom to our network) - please confirm ASAP

Hi Emin

We have a serious regulatory issue. Swisscom blame Switzernet to present numbers even if they send it with the presentation restricted indicator. On VoIP is it the privacy on parameter. Please check if you send it correctly to your customer. If you can't solve this issue ASAP, Switzernet can loose the carrier status.

Matthias
