Creating backups

We have a newly installed fresh astpp server.

“Configuration” => “Database backup” => “Create”

Created successfully.

I will now create some customers and make some test calls

I create again new database backup.

So, we have 2 backups now.

I download both of them.

Importing the DB

First, I tried to rename and import database (the first one).

An error occurs:

Renaming files, removing “sql.” And other work around did not help. Error remains the same. Feels like it is a bug.

Restoring the DB

I create some more customers (a bunch of them):

Now I will restore the second database backup. Then we are supposed to have customers 111 and 222 + default ones. Also some executed calls must be there.

It is the case. After restoring:

Conclusion

Per this fast testing (without entering much in details) we may conclude that restoring the DB in ASTPP v6 works but importing the DB does not work. It is a bug.
