We present a diet problem with parameters marked in green and the variables marked in red. In the excel file we provide the percentages of nutrients (or will be correct to say: their quantities per unit) and we compute the actual amounts of obtained nutrients depending on how much of what you choose to buy. The computed cells (amounts of nutrients computed with excel formulas on the fly) are included into the list constraints of the solver (comparison with the required minimum of nutrients must be satisfactory). The solver, solves the problem of the attached excel file in fractions of a second.
