No need of Swisscom telephones, now you can grow your own phone line out of your home or office Internet.
You need to plug an adapter to your Internet (directly to the Ethernet port of your router or hub, no computer is needed) and you will get out from it a telephone line with a valid tonality … Connect any telephone and make your calls.
The telephone line, which you build out from your Internet, in fact carries out a real Swiss telephone number, with an indicative 021-550••••. You receive a ring on your new line every time someone dials your number from a traditional telephone.
From your new Internet phone line you can call to any telephone number, but if the called also have a similar line, the call will be free without limits on duration. The adapter in fact replaces for you the telephone exchange of Swisscom (since it can generate the telephony tonality, provide the telephony voltage and send incoming rings to your phones) and from the other side, being connected to Internet, the adapter plays a role of a computer which can communicate over the network with various telephone operators and transmit voice of your conversation over the packets of Internet.
Calls to aboard from your mini phone exchange are routed through
Internet directly to the telephone networks of destination countries, without
passing through multiple traditional telephony operators (everyone keeping its
